Surrendering a Bulldog

We know that surrendering your dog is not an easy choice. 

Our goal is to support both you and your bulldog through this process with care and compassion.

Rescue Bulldogs Arizona is a foster-based rescue, which means placement depends on available foster homes and resources. While we cannot guarantee immediate intake, we will do our best to guide you through the next steps.

To begin the surrender process, please complete the Bulldog Questionnaire. This helps us better understand your dog’s needs and determine the best next steps.

In some cases, we may be able to offer guidance or resources to help you keep your bulldog if that is something you’d like to explore.

Here’s what to expect if you move forward with surrendering:

• We are a foster-based rescue and may not be able to take your bulldog immediately 
• Each surrender request is reviewed individually 
• We focus on English Bulldogs only 
• You will be asked to provide veterinary records and photos 
• A surrender agreement will be required to transfer ownership 
• We are unable to purchase dogs
